DM800HD PVR Clone reboot not working !

Hi all, I have a DM800HD Clone which is working fine to a degree. But I do have a problem when trying to reboot. All is fine until I request a reboot via the remote control, the box shuts down nicely, but then refuses to reboot. I then have to unplug from the mains, wait a while, then restart the box as per normal.
Can anyone suggest whether this is a software or hardware issue ?
