View Full Version : What do cccam.channelinfo and cccam.providers files do
What do cccam.channelinfo and cccam.providers files do and are they worth adding to the cccam Thanks
Neither file is required to run CCcam, but both are used by the web interface. Both go in /etc (or /var/etc........the same thing on the duo)
The channelinfo file allows you to see which channel CCcam is decoding instead of seeing the sid.
The providers file allows you to see which package CCcam is decoding instead of seeing the caid.
Basically makes the web interface more user friendly with names instead of numbers.

To answer my own question: they are not.
