Hi guys quick question hopefully some one may know this answer,
I have free to air channels and some free hd channels keep freezing along with the sd ones signal seems ok any ideas ?

dodgy connection at either end of the feed? dish needing aligning?

ive looked at the connections judge everything seems ok, also showed a freind my signal and seems ok so im lost

What resolution have you set the box to ? try 720 see if it still glitches.

free to air channels itv bbc n such. but resolution to lowest setting and trying that for now not been home today to see how its working will try later

You should be able. To run 720 no probs - not much over the air higher anyway.

screen went black when i went 720 lol took me ages to find out how to sort it

Just checking basics. In your AV settings you should have:
1 output - HDMI
2 Mode - 720p
3 Refresh rate -multi
There is also another setting called HDMI CEC setup - In my settings I have not enabled this facility.

HDMI CEC is not related to picture quality, it's a feature of most newer TV's that allows multiple audio and video devices to communicate with each other. for example if your TV is compatible and you Have HDMI CEC enabled and setup correctly. turning the TV off should also put the receiver into standby and vice versa. There is more to it that that obviously but thats the basic idea.

runing at 720p so far so good but need to watch more shows today before im convinced its solved problem but so far so good. :)

i would agree with dodgy cable/loose connections and what signal and quality are you getting?

signal seems fine thats why im struggling to c figure it out lol i can take a pic but people have told me signal seems ok
