When i scan this channel on my vu duo i can see a channel called Primtime, i click on the channel and get a "service not found, SID not found in PAT message"

Also i have already done a full rescan of 28.2e and i know this message appears sometimes if the channel isnt broadcsting, but i just done a scan at my mates house on openbox, on his a channel with a name like ch50321 or something similar shows up but when i click on this i can see the add for the Hatton fight - strange im not getting this on my duo tho?

Phoenix how did you get that screen to appear? Can you edit the PIDs etc from that screen..... i usually just went to the boquets then press the menu button on the the channel to see transponder info, but looking at that screen it appears that i may be able to edit the PID etc which may solve my issue

no you cant edit any of the details in that screen it's just a display.

Menu> information> service or pull up the channel in your bouquet and hit menu then you can go through the options there to see the same details.

yeah the only difference being then that i was getting the info by pressing menu on the channel from the bouquets list..... i tried there copying over a new satellites.xml file and rescanning the transponder, same message tho.

I will try another full rescan and see what that brings...

Yeah.. Open mine in DBEdit.. and find primetime.. in the sports bouquet

Just copy it from there.. and replace it with the old one that you have in your bouquets..

Make sure to delete your old on you own bouqets

Also.. Make sure to replace it in your own bouquets.. in your left side services window as well in DBEdit..

To answer own post, i opened 2 sessions on dreambox edit. Opened my own channel list, then opened Mr Mister channel file and copied the Primtime channel from that, pasted into my own. Saved, resent to box, restarted - job done!!!

Hey guys, just going to piggyback onto this thread, I am using the latest Mr Mister and have done a full rescan but not picking up primetime, any suggestions?

If you not getting primetime.. then you not using the latest bouquets..

Press up button, red button and than navigate to the channel and see if there is a working one there.

If there is press menu and move to to the list you want and than go to that list press menu to enable move mode and than click on it and move to normal location and delete the other one

When I check on DBedit, Mr Mister bouqet has the same frequency as your screenshot, but when I go to primetime and then manual scan, the frequency is 11836/auto/27500/horizontal, I assume this is the old frequency? however when I manually enter the details as per your screenshot it doesn't pick anything up

Try this.

Kill enigma with a telnet session using the init 4 command. ( keep the telnet session open ).

now transfer the bouquet pack over to the receiver as normal with DBE ( dont worry about the error at the end ).

Restart enigma with the init 3 command via the same telnet session.

once the box reboots Check again.

please someone help i have tried changing pids and everything i am using dm500 and can not get this channel to appear at all when i scan the new transponder it finds the new updated primetime i get some epg at the bottom but no picture? has anyone got an up to date boquet i can load

Just did a scan with the above parameters and it scans and picks up channel called prime time but this does not work. However on the same scan it detects a channel called (...). Strange channel name but it is prime time and comes in loud and clear. :-)

Yeh just did a full scan on my duo picked up primetime but with a sid of 4145 where as mister misters is sid 55013 which works, all other infomation is the same 12543 H27500 fec 2/3.

Is this a data channel as i dont get any epg for this.

How do you record the fight... manual timer or instant record?

Just make sure you enter in manual search the following parameters in the attached image. Once scanned select the channel named (...). You will now have prime time :-)

I don't want to butt in and be wrong, but couldn't you use the auto bouquet plugin to scan 28.2e, and that will find primetime for you. I run this plug in.....and I've just checked I have primetime and I didn't even know it.

Just a thought!.....sorry if I'm out of order.

I have tried lraizer autobouqets, mr mister bouqets, editing the PIDs directly into mr mister bouqet(which btw is the correct frequency already) it's very odd, I pick up 99.9% of channels and this .1% is primetime?

Then I suggest double check all frequency parameters and tuner configs and try rescan as its not just prime time at this frequency but several channels so not a prime time issue in this case

Which receiver are you using. Is it a twin tuner? Is tuner a connected straight to a 28e feed or motorised?

This is possibly because you do not have card permissions to watch this. Do you have sub to this channel. Just checked that channel on my box now and is definitely working

I suspect this is your problem mate. The (...) Prime time is significantly lower than most on 28e. I have 99%snr on most channels on my 28e setup but only 41% on this channel. So as yours is coming in at only 19% it is not sufficient to lock on this transponder

No probs mate. If you are within uk/Ireland it may only take a simple slight tweak to your dish to attain a higher signal strength.
But then it is freezing outside lol. So maybe not lol

My SNR for primtime is 53% at the moment.. and has been as high as 65%..

yes mate just checked with my motorised 88cm dish and snr is 58% but unfortunately mikeysauce's dish allignment means he is restricted to 19% which is insufficient for lock

I know this wont help you any but i successfully re-tuned all of my receivers to the correct frequency for primetime and all worked without fail. There have however been multiple reports that even some official Sky uk receivers were affected by this.

ok got it working with Mr.Mister- Vix Team 28.2 east Sky UK Bouquets 08-12-12 - Prime time on now But i have no Box Nation + i havent done a Vix Image update For a year when i go into Sysyem and Plugins Green = Download then if i try to install any Bouquets or apps - it wont let me keeps saying error.. im scard to do an update because i have 1TB HHD and have like 50 Movies took me so long to Upload them is there a Safe way to do this with out losing all my Movies

You 50 movies have nothing to do with flashing your box..

they will still be there after you flash the latest image..

Did you restore a previous settings back-up?
If not, no idea, sorry as I don't use DCC.
Try with a dedicated FTP client, I usually use filezilla.
Username is root, password is left blank & port is 21.

If you haven't updated for over a year, then you are probably on ViX 2.4 or before. In which case, it was stated to not do a settings restore, as it will kill certain functionality, such as FTP. So, best advise is to flash again, and then setup a fresh...

Go to Menu -> Setup -> System -> Network.
& install Samba or NFS or both.

You don't need any extra services installed to add your bouquets.
Just use dbedit, go to tools -> options, add the IP of the box & click Test IP Connection, if all works there, it should be pretty easy to upload the new bouquets.

Are you sure you are using the correct IP?
Go to Menu -> Information -> Network on the box to check.
I've never had an issue with dbedit, so no ideas other than that for now.

ok some how My PC Network detected my Vu duo But DBEdit still would not connect to my vuduo so i added Bouquets manully into Root file Enigma 2 Folder and deleted the old Bouquets.. so glad i have primtime now only thing is not its gone from 1080P to 720P smaller Screen Thats got to be an easy one
