What image are you using. try timer to se if that works.could be keymapping is wrong.
USB stick isn't ideal for recording, how large is it?
Anyway, if using VIX, mount it as /media/hdd & it will record onto it.
I use latest Vix,it is mounted like media/hdd but i get icon thet red button is not allowed.
Later i use openmips with same flash and all works.I dont want openmips i want vix.
What format is the USB, have you tried formatting it in VIX?
yes i formated it in vix.
I did not find mount manager in vix image and i try mount from device manager from ts panel.I have make all combinations.
I have make format in vix but i dont remember thet he ask me for which format to use i think thet there was option to convert from ext3 to ext4.

Mount manager can be founf at :
Menu > Set Up > Vix > Mount Manager
Sorry, i've never used ts panel so can't help you out there.
look under blue button/Vix for mount manager.
ok,i will try mount manager from vix i can not remeber if i try it but i will try it again. Thanks for help and because of your help i want to use Vix image you are the best support.:)
i have found vix manager and usb is formated in ext4 i dont know how to change to ext3 .I try usb ext hdd but i have same problems.i can not to record and i dont know what to do more.
In mount manager can you select the one that says use as HDD.
I am using a 64GB flash drive and it works perfectly on a ET9K
i try this and all other combinations but only way was to go to openmips and there it works in 1 second.
