Strong light in Gigablue QUAD display

Is there any way to dim the light/display. In bedroom the light is quite high?

If you sitting directly in front of it.. it is pretty strong on the eyes..

Unfortunately.. No way to alter it at the moment..

lol, my wife has also complained about this. Because of the outstanding HDMI driver issues the QUAD doesn't work with my AV Receiver so I have it in the bedroom for the time being. The blue light lights up the whole bloody room !

I have found this setting here: /proc/stb/fp/enable_led

It has value 1 but if I set it to 0 the LED still is On. Maybe driver doesn't support this setting? or needs to be loaded with 0 before drivers load?
