Hi,

Plugged in my 500GB HDD into my GigaBlue SE and it doesn't seem to want to record..

It says 'Disk full?' on the screen when its got 400+ GB remaining.

In the Mount manager, its coming up as two options, both mounted to /media/hdd, both showing as 462GB remaining. Not sure why that is?

I tried to record to /media/hdd/Videos/ which is a folder I created and it just doesn't work.

Any help please?

Although I'm not an expert in this area (far from it) it looks like a file type that's not (fully) supported.
I suggest to have the box format it to Ext4.

Furthermore I would have expected a line like
/dev/ubi0_0: UUID="5c2dde07-6818-430b-b371-ec8c503166eb" TYPE="ubifs"
to be present. Apparently it is not, which doesn't look good to me.

Maybe there's an expert who can say more about this?

Thanks Rob.

Would you suggest the box initialize the HDD then? I'll have to backup the data on it first, right?

Indeed: initialisation (= formatting) a drive is an excellent way of getting rid of all your data :D
