thanks Mr.Mister, i have it preloded with the vix image , i have read somewhere on here that i am required to change the boot manager , or boot something , my question is do i have to do this if it is already has the vix image installed
No, it will have come with the latest bootloader as you got it from WOS.

every thing should be good to go, you just need to stick the image on you want and set it up from there. as others have said if you need any help please dont hesitate to ask, and dont worry there are no stupid questions ( we were all newbs once and some of us still are ).

hi all , i am really struggling to add multi sats in to tune them to my dish , i cant use usals as my set is 36v positioner , my system is 1.2 channel master , iverto quad lmb prime focus , 1224 jagger super mount , vu+ duo with vix iamge , kernal , 3.1.1, drivers 2012-10-25,version 3.0,build 423 ,last update 2012-11-18-11:56,this is the first time i have used a linux based reciver so any help would be great
hi this might be a dumb question , but in my back up manager in vix , it is telling me there is a problem with your device and please reformat , if i do a factory reset on the stb would i have to reload vix image if so can i do it via usb

No, a factory reset will set it back to the default image settings of the image you are using.
Is your HDD/USB mounted correctly?
try to reformat the device to which the backup is being saved first.
pluged the usb in the front port which i formatted to fat 32 , also i seem to get the same message in the image managar folder too
hi all i am struggling to install cccam , as i cant find anything in the files when i ftp the box
just thought i would let you know , looks like i had a currupted file , reflashed the stb and all working good up to now
