Flashing record on ULTIMO with VIX

Anyone know how to get rid of the flashing red icon on the info bar next to record, and it flashing on the front pannel? I have no recordings running, no HDD, and no timers set.

Does it look like a globe?

That is the update icon to show new image updates online - red for unstable ie not every thing has been tested and green for stable

If I set the "look for updates every..." to disable does this stop the flashing icon as the box is not looking for an update? Frankblueking

Yes if you disable the update than nothing will flash and you wont know when new updates are online
