Problem with the sound of captured movie

Dear Friends / Masters

I have captured my desired programme . when I transfer it into my laptop to make a DVD , the captured ts file has no sound when played using windows media player . But it has sound in ET HDD when also played by STB. How could I solve this problem ?

Try using VLC and options>audio and see if their is another stream as media player may be picking the wrong one

hi,
Windows media player dos not like AC3/DD. VLC or mediaplayer classic home cinema should do. If you want to use your player try ac3 filter.
