Epg missing every morning

I have my epg set to download at 05:30 every morning, the next day the epg is blank and I need to manually download it, next day same story.
I have a 32GB stick with loads of space on.

It does the same after a reboot as well.

I'm pretty new to this but, have you got the correct destination set to save the epg, ei the 32gb stick?

Remove USB..
Format again in Fat32..
Put USB back in Solo..
Reboot Solo
Wait for next due download..

Should be fixed..

Please advise if this worked..

Its already vfat, how will this fix the issue, have you seen this before.

Is the USB mounted as USB or HDD, if it's an external drive it need, to be mounted as USB and not HDD. This might help

Possibly activating a SWAP-file might help; the Solo has a very small amount of memory, in fact not enough for a decent EPG-download + data-parsing.

Be aware: for a SWAP-file an Ext2/3/4 device is needed.

I put a new windows formatted 8gb stick in and its been ok since. Apart from it being locked the other morning and needing a reboot.

Sorry to hijack thread but I am now having trouble with cross epg. Each time I try to do an update either through plug in menu or from set up menu it fails to update and has just crashed. I've sent file 1353183566.88.
I now have no epg.
I'm currently on 420
Please Advise, because the wife is doing her nut.

Please disregard my last post. I've fixed it......should I say......I don't think it was broke, I believe it wasn't working because I had an active recording occurring.
I cancelled recording ran cross epg..then hey presto it worked.

Again my apologies if I've done wrong by hijacking thread. Don't mean any offence by it.sorry!

My cross epg is set to download at 01:20am each day and save to my hdd. It usually runs trouble free.
However something Strange has just happened....22:17pm this evening whilst watching a pre recorded film my duo suddenly ran the cross epg download. The remote was on floor. I am currently on build 423. Any ideas anybody. All time settings are correct

I agree with rob, swap is needed on the solo.
