Hello,

I have setup my GB QUAD with HDMI and 1080p. The TV image is perfect in terms of size.
For some reason the VIX menu are too zoomed so I don't see well the bottom of the menus (where there are two lines with the button colors: red, gree, yellow, blue).
Is there any way to resolve this?

Thanks
XabiX

Please can you tell me a bit more what your seeing.. ??

Do you mean that the menu page is too big for the screen.. ??

Read this,

http://www.world-of-satellite.com/showthread.php?22770-HD-101-Overscan-and-why-all-TVs-do-it

Then either turn off overscan on your TV ( the best option ) or use the OSD positioning app in the image to adjust as needed.

Hi Pheonix,

Thanks for your pro active support. Here is what I see:
20754

The image (TV) is great displayed and scales OK the TV.
The issue is with the OpenVIX menus as you can see in the red bubbles.

Merci (will read your links)

VIX isn't the problem, its your TV cropping the image ;) What make/model is your TV? You can fix it by changing a setting on your TV or by adjusting the OSD in VIX
Are you in France ?

You TV isn't scaling correctly, you just think it is :)

as i said TURN OFF OVERSCAN on your TV. if you read that article i posted you would understand that the problem lies with your TV and not the image.

I did read an article somewhere (can't remember where) that alot of new TV's over the last couple of years no longer have this option
Whever it is true or not I can't say :)

i was not suggesting that you had not read the article, i was speaking to the OP, This is certainly a overscan issue the OP like almost every one just did not know till now that his TV was displaying the picture @ 1.05% on every pixel. its a common thing for people to blame the image rather than look towards their own TV.

It worked perfectly. It was the overscan of the TV.

I need to solve the HD channels and then I would be all set !!!
(we will have the firmware update early next week solving the latest issues)
