View Full Version : ET9200 - Booting Issue - Unable to Reflash

Hi all,

I have a ET9200 that I got out of the cupboard over the weekend, and booted it up but then instantly after the Clarke Tech scene leaves the page to be replaced by the VIX welcome page, it crashes and got to the Green Screen, although not like the usual crash scene, just plain green with the VIX logo spinning.

So I though I would reflash it with OpenVix 3.0, but the receiver doesn't seem to see the USB stick with the new files in, although the stick is powered as the LED flashes.

Anyone got any ideas to default it? Or help me out of this recurring loop!!!

Many thanks,

Gav

If the box has been in the cupboard for quite some time, you're likely to need to flash the latest bootloader.

I'll try that now Rob, thanks.

Just quickly do you know whether the bootloader files have to be within the folder labelled et9200 or separated on the USB stick?

IIRC the bootloader should be in et9000 folder.

All worked after I re formatted the USB stick to FAT32 and threw the correct files into the folders, rather than loose on the memory card. Cheers for your help guys!
