LCD Splash.bin

afternoon!

im trying to make my own lcdsplash.bin for the quads lcd when it boots up.

does anyone know how to make my png logo into the .bin format for the lcd?

i'll test out a new bootlogo later with 1.


might have to re-flash the box to test tho im not sure how or where to put the lcdsplash.bin
it must get written during the flashing process.

There is a splash.bin file on the USB key when you flash an image, but I'm guessing its the one that tells you to press OK ;)

i need to look inside all the bin files to see whats there atm

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, it seems you can open the .bin files with Windows Paint

I'm fairly sure that renaming the .png extension to .bin "might" work.
If you rename one of the bin's to png it will open no problem and display the picture :thumbsup:
