Losing Services

I have been having trouble with 'Tune Failed' which I assumed was down to a faulty tuner, so I replaced it. The original tuner was an Alps Rev M and the new one was the sane Rev M. After installing the tuner the service scans have been picking up less services, now down to just 265?
What could be wrong?

are you sure the dish is aligned correctly
make sure the inner core of the coax cable is,nt corroded
check the lnb via another unit if you have one

Got my services back by re-flash and new Bouquet listings. Only problem, one channel was OK last night but this morning no SNR. I have noticed that the tuner lock seems to be on then goes off again. Could it be the image that is causing this or a problem with the tuner?

its most likely as I posted, coax/lnb...or dish alignment ( check connectiopns/no shorts )
