Cant find VU+DUO ipk installer

New VU+ just out of the box,I have downloaded enigma2-plugin-........ipk file, and copied over to the Hard Drive in my VU+ (tmp folder), I go into Vu+ menu , then look for ipk installer menu. but its not there, whats wrong

if your using the ViX image its under.

blue button> ViX> install local extension.

Hi, all that comes up under blue button is input, activate picture in picture, How can i find out what image is on the box,in "about" it gives image :Experimental 2011-11-08, great if you can help

In that case i believe you may be on the factory installed image otherwise known as the OI, and to be honest i'm not sure uf you can install plugins on this image. you would be better served by flashing a third party image to the receiver such as our very own ViX.
