I have a duo box and i have been away and i have returned to find i've lost my HDD, can anyone help.

Only joking... what does Menu -> Setup ->ViX -> Mount Manager show you?

Have you any other drives including USB plugged in?
Andy has added some debug output to the next build to help sort this issue, so maybe try on that tomorrow & upload any debug logs then.

look in /etc /enigma2 if you have a file called automounts.xml delete it and fully reboot the receiver, then setup the mounts again.
