View Full Version : Latest unstable Vix doesn't detect USB drive
I just upgraded 2 solo's to the latest unstable release and neither of them will now detect USB drives, they both have different vendor USB drives which previously detected, this is causing epg to save to flash which isn't the best.

Thanks rob, i could not remember the full path and have no access to my boxes to check ( at work again lol ).
Do the logs reveal anything guys
Just noticed it doesn't detect hard disk on my duo either. Hard disk was fine before update, hope it's not lost all mySpongeBob.

This happened to me too, I downgraded and all worked again.
Build 385, I upgraded to 390 now and the problem has gone, probably worth marking 385 as faulty.

The stable and unstable tags only apply to the current build on the server / online update. so as 385 is no longer the current build it no longer applies to the stable / unstable report.
Is it best to never select yes to unstable updates or use the opkg cli method?
generally if your happy with a particular build you can turn off the unstable updates notification, but that said even stable images can go wrong, which is why we set the auto image and settings backup upon a GUI update from the box, so that if something does go wrong it's a relatively painless process to return to a known working image.
