epg problem

is anyone haveing a prob with epg on vix 3.0 build 385
the epg in channel list is all showing fine now and next,
but when i zap to a channel theres a different program on to what shows in epg
and the on screen infobar epg keeps changeing when i change a channel
iv tryed a new crosspeg download with no effect
any help with this please

Apparently there is a difference between the EPG data loaded on your box (from Cross) and the Now/Next data that shows up when your box is tuned to a service.
Now/Next is not stored on the box, so as long as there is a difference between the two, this will remain as it is now.

sorry mate,does that mean it could just be a programme change or a build issue
never had this prob before its always worked fine

Might be a programme change. Might be Cross-EPG was not correct.

again its around the same time from 11:00 till about 2:00
the epg is wrong
its fine in the evening

Maybe try deleting your EPG.dat file and set up the EPG again to rule out any possibility of corruption within your current EPG. Remember though if you do delete the EPG.dat file you will have to stop enigma first via a telnet session using the init 4 command.

is there any other way to delete epg file.im not sure about telnet
dont want to mess my box up
can i do it via ftp

No, there's no other way. And nothing can be messed up.
In telnet

init 4
than remove the file (via FTP)
and then in telnet

init 3

just did the telnet was easy using putty
will update tomorrow afternoon
like i said thats the time the prob happens

epg working fine now not sure if deleteing epg.dat file worked
or maybe an issue with the clocks going back
but its working fine now
