2nd hand vu duo help

Just bought a 2nd hand duo with 1tb hdd. It was on a fixed dish b4. I have a motorised dish. I fitted a quad lnb and its all up and working on 28.2 e. It has the vix image installed on it from sept 2011. just wondering what i should do next to load up al lthe satelites. Should i do a factory reset and start again or ????. oh and its also connected to the internet. Any help would be great. Thankyou

Thats a very old image, your better of flashing to the very latest build.

I cant remember which build it was in sept 11 but you may also need to update the bootloader.

yes update the drivers as Stan has said, ( do this via USB ) it takes seconds

then use the latest VIX 3 image, you will need to set the image to allow unstable updates, so you can download plugins, but do not update the VIX3 image ( at the mo, if you do, the unit will not see the hard drive )

Thanks, been away for a while, which bootloader should i be loading first please.

Just upload the bootloader in the thread I posted above and than download the very latest image from here
