Hi, go easy on me — I'm a noob.

Just switched from and OpenBox S9 to a VU+ Solo running VTI — it's all up and running but may channels which were fine on the OBS9 are either very low SNR or giving an error "SID not found in PAT" on the VU+.

For instance, I have HD sports channels working just fine but cannot get BBC 1,2,3,4 HD etc, ITV 1,2,3,4 HD or any of the stuff you'd find on a Freeview box.

I've used SGTFlipFlop ENiGMA2 05.10.12

I've disconnected and reconnected the sat cable with no difference.

Any suggestions appreciated.

many of the BBC and a few of the ITV channels have undergone frequency changes etc since that bouquet was released. Try a rescan to see if it pulls the back in again. SID NOT FOUND IN PAT means that it cant find any data being transmitted on that channel, ie a frequency change or a channel that only broadcasts at certain times of the day or night.

What if I was to clear the bouquets and do an auto scan — should that resolve the issue? I realise I'd have to organise all my channels again.

Ok, I just added SGTFlipFlop ENiGMA2 12.10.12 and although I've got a few channels that weren't there before, I'm getting between 0 and 50% snr on many channels.

how is your tuner setup ? and is this a fixed dish or motorized ?

It's a fixed dish but it's quite an old Sky one. Worked fine with the OpenBox S9.

well i would first double check the f-plugs and other connections etc as simply unplugging them from one receiver to another could be sufficient enough to loosen them enough to cause this problem, especially on a older setup.

Tuner is set up with advanced settings (see screenshot)

I've tried this with the same issues but I'll change it back in the morning. Thanks for your help tonight — I'm off to bed.
