What do you mean by won't pick it up?

Did you manage to get a network connection with the PC you used to set it up?

What does the adapter information say on the vu+ network page?

If you have a wireless pc for the setup, I'll be happy to do a Teamviewer remote control session and help you set it up.

You obviously know nothing of how to setup the Tenda

The PC setting up the Tenda will be disconnected from Internet whilst setting up so don't know how you think you can setup via Teamviewer

I advise the OP to ignore this kind yet pointless offer.

You can have a wireless and a wired connection simultaneously. Use the wireless connection for the teamviewer session (or any other internet session) with the Tenda plugged into the Ethernet port to be setup.

I know because I've done it a few times with a laptop.

Its can only be done with the OP has two Ethernet ports or one wired + another wireless. Personally I think the OP should read and follow the guide, what's he going to do if it need re-configuring on the future?? Rely on other again?

All Done and working. Guide was good but missing one important detail - Had to enter Default Gateway Number
Hope this helps others

Enter the following IP Address Number into the IP Address field, 192.168.2.20
Enter the following Subnet mask Number, 255.255.255.0
Enter the following Default Gateway Number, 192.168.2.1

Yes but step 5 misses out the fact that you need to enter the default gateway number in the box provided

That's becuase you dont need to :) You setup your network card as the screenshot, then open your broswer and enter 192.168.2.1, thats it. If you needed too, then something to do with your network setup.

Well i tried that and it dont work.
Then found another tutorial on another site that said you did need the extra gateway setting.
When i did this it worked great.. Dont really matter as working now just thought it would help if others had same problem :smiley_yup:
