Hi guys,
Something appears to have been changed between vix 2 & 3 as the CEC will now not put the box into stdby, it will power it up and everything else. I have listed the log details

hdmi_cec: remove duplicated conditional code
hdmi_cec: use (fixed) devicetype 3 for DREAMBOX
HdmiCec: add wakeup on 'TV physical address report' option
HdmiCec: wakeup on 'activity' should ignore standby command
hdmi_cec: add dreambox support
configure.ac: set DREAMBOX define on Dreambox hardware
[HDMI-CEC] is now disabled for default
HdmiCec: add wakeup on 'TV physical address report' option
HdmiCec: wakeup on 'activity' should ignore standby command
hdmi_cec: add dreambox support
configure.ac: set DREAMBOX define on Dreambox hardware

Something appears to have been changed between vix 2 & 3 as the CEC will now not put the box into stdby, it will power it up and everything else.
CEC commands are driver-related. And indeed: ViX3 uses later drivers then ViX 2.

OK thanks but as I have the latest drivers and vix 3.0.173 and all the HDMI settings are correct is there a chance of this issue being looked at please?

Sorry, but no. As I said CEC is controlled by the drivers, and we have no influence on them.

Hi satnav,
post a screen shot of your CEC settings and I will test. You control your STB with the RC of your TV I assume.

Sorry but I find this difficult to understand as there is a whole list of CEC changes listed in the VIX release logs!

They would all appear to be a possible source of the issue! to an amateur.

Hi, yes my samsung RC which all worked great with same settings until update from vix 2 to 3

Thanks for your very helpful offer but I have now resolved the problem, re-seated tv hdmi cable.
