Hi

my current internal hard drive is 320gb and i have now got a 2tb drive. i have alot of recordings the current drive, whats best way to move the recordings off the current to new drive. i also have a 1tb usb drive........so my thinking is, copy everything to usb ........install new drive and copy back to new drive?? is that the best way?

Personally I would install the new drive then using a USB HDD cradle, copy the contents of the old drive to the new one.

If you computer hard drive is large enough, I would first transfer them across to a computer, and then installed 2 TB HD , and then transfer back to Sat 2TB HD.
