dream elite image channel change

Hi is it possible to make the screen black when changing channels with the dream elite image on the Vu + duo

no this is only available through the new drivers which are not installed and can't be on the DE image

It is possible using the older drivers ,i had mine like that for ages ,you do loose the boot logo though.
