Hello I have a TM receiver and I want to get Viasat what size dish do I need I got a 1.2 mtr dish now hope you can help cheers

I have a 1.1m dish and have no issues accessing Viasat services on 4.8E.

thats strange I got Viasat on the game I wanted came on but kept breaking up and impossible to watch thanks take care

Depends where abouts in the country you are,, think the further North you go, the bigger the dish you need.. cheers satcat

Im in southern Ireland with a 1.2m dish and I cant get it

I get good reception in north west with 90cm on 13e 4.8e 1w & 7w its critical that your HH mount is set up to track all your sats! Setanta IRL and canal+ best 3pm footy mate too.

with Via Sat, the nearer you are to the Nordic countrys, the better, so on the North east coast/East Scotland a smallish dish is ok, as far Ireland goes, a 1.2 might be ok, with a feed horn, but doubtfull, I live in North East Wales, with a 1.2 Andrews dish, with a feed horn, and my signal strengths are poor, but good enough to get a decent piccy, ( that was when I had the card working ) :mad:

As basil says, with the Nordic beams the further north and east you are the easier they are to pick up. I get them on a Fracarro Penta 85 on the NE coast

Hi I live in South Wales with a 1.2 mtre dish could not get the footie last Saturday but I got a few channels on there today do I need a bigger dish not sure hope you guys can advise me and would it be hard to change the dish size whats involved cheers guys take care
