The TV shows i have transferred via FTP from the internet seem to suffer from lip sync running out half way through. I have checked the same shows on the PC & can confirm its not the encoding of the sample itself
If anyone would like to recreate the sync issue, the latest file to suffer from this issue is > "revolution.2012.105.hdtv-lol" which encoding is as follows>>

Video Codec>
avc1 H.264/MPEG-4 AVC @ Kbs998
Size 720 x 404

Audio Codec>
Mp4a: MPEG-4 AAC LC
48000Hz 127 kb/s tot , stereo (2/0)

NB> ET9000 DVR (.ts) recorded content is fine

I am running the latest VIX image including the update rolled out this week.

Any ideas as the previous versions of VIX didnt have the problem.

So what is your hardware setup e.g ET9000 -> receiver ? -> TV or what?
Lipsync can also be due to changing hardware configs or with AV and audio going via different paths

Hardware is the same as what is was using the previous version of VIX & all other recordings are unaffected.
Hardware is>> ET9000 -> HDMI Cable -> TV Having young children = The basics :(

The codec below does NOT suffer from this issue

Video Codec>
XviD ISO MPEG-4 @ Kbs13098 Size 680x320

Audio Codec>
(Dolby AC3) AC3
48000Hz 128 kb/s tot , stereo (2/0)

TBH, i think ill wait until other members start to notice the problem as there seems to be a lack of concern over it at this time.

I would not say it's a lack of concern but as you pointed out others may not have noticed or are not having this issue.
