Not sure if this is in the correct place.

I have a 32G flash drive currently formatted to FAT32, but as you know you can't transfer files bigger than 4g over.

The movie I have to transfer over is 9.5g so won't copy. If I format it to NTFS it will copy but then wont be recognised in my panasonic blueray 3d player.

Any ideas anyone?

Can you not re-encode the file into a smalller size? What format is it in at the minute?

You can split the files into 4GB parts.

Do a Google for MKVMERGE With that you can split a larger file into several smaller ones while still keeping the original format (therefor not loosing quality by recoding to a smaller size).
Thats what I used to use on my LG BD player ;)

you can format the stick to ext4 via the receiver but if you wanted to flash the receiver with the same stick you would need to format back to FAT32 again.
