HD chanel crashes

problem 1 every time i go to any HD chanel it crashes
problem 2 want to put picons in hd or usb to save flash memory

works in media/usb/picon (put this is stored in flash not usb)
not in media/hdd/picon

I'm not really sure if there is any thing we could do to help you on this one. I would advise you to upload your crash logs to the BH team for them to look at, but reading on a few other forums it does seem that a fair few users ( although not all ) are suffering the same problems with some HD channels on BH 1.7.7 and BH 1.7.8.

In the mean time why not try another image to see if the problem is the same there ?, you can always create a backup and if you dont like the image return to your existing setup.

as for picons, The very best place for these is on the flash or a USB stick, I would not advise using a HDD for picons as the HDD will have to spin up on every channel change to find the picon, this in turn will substantially slow down the zap times of the box.

Delete any existing picon folder you may have on the box and place the new set directly onto the internal flash or USB stick, making sure the picon folder is named picon and not picons.
