Genuine Duo Remote not working on Vu Ultimo

Hi, i have a Vu Ultimo, but dont like the remote that came with ultimo seems so fiddly to use and range not great, unlike the Duo remote, so i ordered a Genuine Vu Duo remote and doesnt seem to work on ultimo ?

got new batteries and also get red led flash when button pressed so no idea whats up here

The DUO-R/C is set to 'code 1'; the Ultimo uses 'code 2' by default. So if you want to use the DUO R/C for the Ultimo, you'll have to tell the Ultimo to listen to code 1 (menu --> remote code or so).

or instead of changing the code on the receiver ( which will change back if you ever re-flash the box ). If you have one of the new programeable remotes ( will have a TV button top left and STB button top right ). program the remote it self
