View Full Version : DreamboxEdit error when reloading bouquet data from box

I've had DreamboxEdit working flawlessly with my Vu+duo up until yesterday.

I've made two changes to my bouquets directly on the box:-

1. I used remotestreaconvert plugin to add a new bouquet of 'remote_favourites' from my other box (a Gigablue 800SE).
2. I re-added manually the changed BBC channels BBC3, BBC4, etc. I added these to the end of my normal Favourites Bouquet.

Today when I went into DreamBoxEdit to tidy up my 'Favourites' Bouquet it fails on loading the bouquet/services data from the Vu+

Error is

"Listenindex uberschreitet das Maximum (106)".

which according to Google Translate is "List Index falls over the maximum (106)"

Note my bouquets are based on the SgtFlipFlop 28.2E but with significant editing to add French channels from 5W and Irish Channels from a DVB-T USB stick - with all the 'watchable' channels thrown into a single favourites bouquet.

Anyone know how to solve for this error?

DreamboxEdit isn't compatible with streaming channels created with the remotestreaconvert plugin.
Remove these from your bouquets if you want DBE to work again.

Allow me to re-phrase that a little bit:
DBE & Dreamset are not compatible with URL-streams.
And indeed: RSC is one of the many sources of such streams.

Thanks guys. That seems pretty clear. Are there any alternatives to DBE or Dreamset that will work?

See

www.setedit.de
runs under Windows (maybe under Wine?). It's a very sophisticated editor.

Thanks Rob, It does run under wine, just installed it.
Can't seem to do a network read from receiver though, it wants a com port?
The english translations didn't work for me on the site so maybe I installed an old build...

Nahhhh, in config you must enter the config (file location and ip-address).
