VIX 3.0.343 Timeshift not available

I have a genuine Vu+ Duo and have updated to the VIX 3.0.343 image from a 2 series image, but I have been unable to get timeshift to install. When I try to set it up I get the message '/hdd/timeshift/ is not a EXT2, EXT3, EXT4 or NFS partition. Make sure you select a valid partition type.' I am able to record programmes on the HDD. Any ideas/help would be appreciated.

Go into mount manager and see what the format is for the HDD, if its showing as Ext thsn it should be fine, if its showing as vfat than you need to initialise it as ext IF you do, you will lose everything on it.

if the file format is wrong, go into your timrshift or recording menu and see where it is set to use for timeshift . instant and permanent timeshift. Failing all of this back up and flash to very ltest as everything working fine here.

Actually I had tried your suggestions before posting, I have tried initialisation again and all works now. A little mystery, but all OK. Thanks for your help.
