i had box yesterday vu plus due and it connected to dcc but now it wont just keeps disconecting.if i go in to network settings its all ok

Check the IP address of the Duo in case it has changed

Still the same .when I do a search with dcc it finds it but will not connect

first of all I would use FILEZILLA ( google will find )

the password to your unit is very likely blank ( as in nothing ) which is why DCC cant connect

if you want to use dcc, you need to telnet the unit, this is best done with PUTTY ( again google )

login in to the ip of the unit, type root password type passwd ( not password ) hit return

you will be prompted to type a new password, no text will be seen, do this, and hit return, and repeat when prompted
