flashing 800se

hi guys

attempting to put vix image onto gigablue to replace openmips.

did the whole sequence only it didnt come up with E0000 but came up with CONF then DONE

switch off removed pen drive

started box up - I get the Vix splash screen but for some strange reason Openmips is still there

I cant help much, as I hav,nt got this unit, but have you checked out the sticky?? ( link is posted above )

well at least you now know what you were doing wrong but so that others in the same predicament as you can learn care to elaborate ?.

Just jumped the gun on loading bootloader - What I did was just loaded bootloader then attempted to load image the normal way as it would be on a vu+ - What I didnt do what READ what it was telling me to do and that was when conf appears press the OK button - which i didnt do hence why it wasnt working - with the older bootloaders you could just plug in pen drive and away it went flashing but not now!!!!

Keep an eye out for future reference lol
