Hi guys iv tried to get my remote to see/use my 50"LG anyway couldn't get Tito work after 30 mins of trying I gave up but this has brought a problem I can't use the reliever volume now does anyone know hoe I can reset the remote back to how it was please ?

In case you want to reset the configured TV set-up of your RCU,
Press Sequence: <<1 + 6>>, <9>, <9>, <6>

1. Press 1and 6 for three seconds until LED is on.
2. Press <9>, <9>, <6>.

This will reverse the RCU into 'no configuration' state.

i have because when you enter the 996 the tv button flashes 3 times and i can use all except the volume

Not sure about the 'three flashes' and I have n original R/C to check here.
What happens of you change the R/C code to say '2' and than back again (because the DUO only understands code 1)?

iv tried all of the tut mate in the instructions iv changed what you said 2+7 help 0002 nothing worked ,changed back to 0001 and its still not working the only thing i can think of is to find the code for the tv and with sky it was 0206 should this work with the this remote? because it doesnt ?

Does anyone know how or know where I can find the code needed for a 50" LG as I still can't reset the remote to work the volume :confused:

try turning off hdmi cec in the receiver menu>setup>system>hdmi-cec

Worked maxwell thank you I haven't been in hdmi-cec to change anything but the forward volume keys was on yes changed to no - bingo no more hunting for two remotes!!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:
