i have a vu+duo box and i loaded the latest image ( dream elite ) the network settings are fine as their all ticked but when i goto adons to get cccam it says connection failed

help please

Hi mate

You just missed the boat ...dreamteam have pulled the plug for now so im guessing update/plugins have gone why not try the new vix image

Have a look around the forums in the downloads section might help... But just in case you can't find it... (http://www.vuplus-support.co.uk/showthread.php?2055-VIX-Team-Vu-Duo-Image-05-09-2010)

ANd yes, cccam is in the downloads from the plugin menu...

Many images require you to download cccam from the plugins/addons menu...unless it states on the description that it is already installed.

Why not try the VIX image

There is, go to the plugins menu, and press the green button...

You need to download it from the plugins....

Press menu, plugin and then green. Softcams...find the softcam you need and install.

That part shoudlnt take long at all...Assuming that you are connected up to the internet with your box...

Have you checked your network setttings?

the ip of ur ur duo.
to find it out, click on menu>setup>system>network>adapter setting
and it should be written there

ok done that now it says

Dream-Elite Server Softcam ONLINE

FOR DREAMBOX and VU+DUO

Tested on VU+Duo with Dream-elite 1.3.3F

2- Go to: MENU -> SETUP -> SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT -> ADVANCED OPTIONS -> PACKETS MANAGEMENT -> push RELOAD

advanced options isent in software mamagement on my box?

to get advanced options:

menu>setup>system>customize
change setup mode to expert and click ok/green button on remote

but any how DE server has been shut down

you need to give VIX image a go, it is almost perfect as per all comments
