Which hard drive do you use ?

I have a Western Digital Elements 1TB usb 2 from PC world hard drive connected to my xt5000, but when playing back programmes I have recorded it sometimes pixelates or freezes for a second or 2 then continues. It also seems a little slow but that's probably just me being picky.
The main problem is the Pixelating and the Freezing during playback.

Is there any other hard drives that are maybe more compatible or more reliable?

Could be lots of reasons for that. Does it happen on fta and scrambled recordings? Or just scrambled? Also, do you have any other usb devices connected? What format is your hdd formatted in?
