skin help

hi im trying to ftp a new skin over this skin here

im doing /usr/share/enigma2 and sending the rar accross but its not reading it on the box iv even put it in a folder called new skins but still no joy what am i doing wrong?:confused::confused::confused:

The ramiMAHER skins are in a raw format. Meaning they are not installable via a executable such as a .ipk.

you need to extract the skin form the .rar file and ftp the files into their relevant folders. Once done reboot the box and go to the skin setup section to select tow skin.

iv done this and its sticking on loading screen iv deleted the rami file from enigma to get it back going but iv distributed the smaller files to the relivant areas but i cant delete them :(

while i did not have any problems using the ramiMAHER skins on the ViX 2.4 image. I cant say whether they will work with ViX 3.0, as i have not used them on this image.

arhhhh maybe thats what it is, iv got it back on now after a fiddle but as far as files to relivant files how far does it go? menu buttons to menu buttons i put usr to usr enigma to enigma font to font etc all i had left to distribute was the rami menu etc i think maybe iv done it wrong too
