xtrend 6000 not detecting Vix 3.0 Image on usb stick

I have copied the ET6c00 folder which I downloaded from the site to the root of my usb stick, connect the usb stick to the usb port and powered on the box, the xtrend boots straight into the pre-installed image ignoring the usb image.

I've tried both a sandisk cruzer and sandisk fit ut both do the same, any ideas guys.

I worked it out, I needed to flash the bootloader first.
