You've said your TV does pick them up?
Was that a mistype?
As if your TV does pick them up, I don't understand what the issue is?

If its a case of your TV not switching into 3D mode automatically when switched to the new 3D channels.
Could you tell us your TV model, and current receiver image?

i have a vt30 panny and when a 3d signal comes on, even for likes of bbc hd ect, it says 3d image detected and asked me to changed to 3d mode
it does this on skyn 3d channel, all the time and shows the left and right pic

but on a few other so called channels i pick up across my motor dish , i say so called as not 100% checked, they say they are 3D, but the tv does tell me

gone back to 2.4 as i like the sound and picons

Some Channels, Such as Hustler 3D and Redlight 3D-HD are labelled as 3D but as yet I've never seen a 3D broadcast on those services.
As for your issue with 'so called' 3D channels, although Vix and some other images contain a 3D 'autodetect' feature this doesn't always work especially on the non 28.2e 3D services.
If the channel displays SBS or Top/Bottom doubled images then it is a 3D channel and just select the appropriate 3D mode on your Panny and watch away.
