recording problem

Guys,

For some reason my vu+ box won't record BBC HD !!

Records every other channel but for some reason every time I push the red record button it appears to record to my internal HDD but the 'recorded' programming just shows a black screen.

Also there is no 'red' record icon on the box display.

Any ideas
