View Full Version : Open VIX 3.0 recording issues

I have installed VIX 3.0 and set it up, no problem. I have been using VIX for ages, so only takes 20 mins to do. However with this latest image, recordings to HD are garbled and blocking. This happens on any channel, including FTA channels. I have reinitialised the HD, but the problem persists. I have fortunately made a backup image of 2.4 so I have gone back to that. Is this a known issue? Or just me?

As the latest images also use the latest drivers, have you also updated the FPGA ?.

The FPGA is a update specifically for the tuner cards. if your using the latest ViX 3.0 images with the latest drivers you can update the FPGA directly from the receiver.

go to the plugins section and you should see a heading for firmware update or similar you can update the FPGA from there.

Sounds typically as a not-updated FPGA.
We did mention this needed update in the release thread, didn't we :cool:
