Watching a channel like BBC1 then switching to say Sky Sports etc ... weird problem.

Hi, everything is running well on my box thus far. Although iv'e noticed a strange issue whilst using a Newcamd server.

Say i was watching a non scrambled channel like BBC One HD for 30mins or so then switches back over to a scrambled service like Sky Sports 1 etc, It would say scrambled channel and i'd have to wait about 20 seconds or so for it to sort itself out, either selecting anther channel, going back, etc. This doesn't happen if your watching a scrambled channel service and switch to another.

It's like a timeout issue, if i'm not using a scrambled channel for a period of time, it will cause this strange problem as i mentioned above, kind of like iv'e temporarily disconnected from the Newcamd server etc.

Anyone else have this problem?

same here on 2 different makes of box and different servers

your server has you set to go to sleep when not in use, then when you connect it wakes back up but it takes a few seconds, obviously switching between pay channels will then be quicker cause your connected already :)
