Guys,

It appears my sly dish is slightly out of alignment
I'm using a vu+ duo and my sky dish and getting ,on most channels, a great picture.

However for some reason Irish setanta and sky news seem to have poor quality.

I've been told my dish might be out of alignment.

What's the best way to check this ??

I'm guessing its a satellite finder , any advice on best one ?? Could I buy a decent one, use it and then return it ???

Cheers

I have a app for my android phone that links to the duo through my network. Its called enigma signal meter, you could put that on and twiddle your dish.I havnt used it yet so dont know how accurate it is.Im sure yo can change channel too.

Looks like a very useful app, but why does it need permission to read the phone state and identification data?
Requiring powerful, and apparently unnecessary permissions always seems risky and suspect to me.

No way you can align your dish using signal strength; you might be pointing to your neighbour's microwave.
