View Full Version : CCCAM query
hi when using cccam is there a preference as to which card slot is used ie you should use the top slot or only use the lower slot? having an issue showing 0 clients. not sure if allowed to talk about it here so appologies in advance.

well i am sure you are talking about "local" (internal network) clients
you need to lok at your cccam.cfg in "etc"
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 6000000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 6000000
#SHOW TIMING : yes
#B: /dev/tts/0 07
B: /dev/sci0 00
B: /dev/sci1 00
#BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 00 11 22 33
/dev/sci0 = top slot
/dev/sci0 6000000 = mhz setting...if your card is sensitive, change to /dev/sci0 3700000
baz
if using an ird car u may need to have the following in the cfg as well
CAMKEY : /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA : /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/sci0
sci0 or sci1 depends where is ur card, top or bottom slot
hi guys thanks for your replies, my card is for digitalb, i can connect to the server as i can open channels but if i look at clients i have 0. it should say 1. it must be something daft that ive missed. it is in the lower card reader.
i think u'll need another thing beside cccam. think oscam and cccam must be working together
ok i will give it a go and see how i get on, is the oscam/cccam combo purely for cs as i can clear digitalb with just my card in slot and no net cable?
ok installed oscam/cccam combo but still 0 clients? any ideas guys?

helping with a local network is ok
helping with an external setup is not ok (rules)
you can however study your cccam.cfg file, and open ports on your router to suit your needs
baz
ok sorry about that.
