you need to reflash the unit by the sounds of it

its also very likely a clone, if it is, this forum will not knowingly assist

you will need some tools ( software ) on your pc as well, its been years since I messed with the 500, but luckily, I do have the softwares needed on my comp

you need a software called FLASHWIZARD PRO to start with, this is used to load images to the unit, ( the operating system of the unit )

you will also need a suitable image, I will try and source one shortly, as the surport for these units nowr days is limited

you will also need a FTP software, FILEZILLA is a free download, and will do this for you

I will add to this thread shortly, a series of links that will help you

however, really you need a better unit, there are several good cheap units ( Hi Def ) WHICH WILL BE FAR BETTER FOR YOU

use dream-up version 1.3.2.1 as it works on DM500S, and install the latest image for a DM500s, and is commando 14.6, as it has a cracking EPG installed within it m8...cheers

naughty box. you know we dont support cloned receivers. I have a good mind to wash your mouth out with soap for that.

The image as with all others is a free piece of software, as with all images once setup you can receive all FTA - free to air channels. if you want to view paid for channels you will need a sky uk subscription card or a card for the service you want to watch.

Without a legitimate subscription card to sky uk there is nothing we can do to help you. i seriously suggest you read the forum rules before you post again.

this will give you the means to upload an image to the unit

but reading your recent post,...you need to read the rules of the forum again

if you are expecting help with card share, forget it

you could NOT possible have ALL channels, until you put a cam into the box, so someone could be pulling your middle leg m8

In that case i suggest you give the receiver back to the person you bought it from as you are breaking the law. We will not help you view channels illegally without a paid for sky uk subscription.

we can help you flash the receiver with another image, we can even help you setup your receiver to use a legitimate sky UK subscription card so that you can view any channels you legitimately pay for. but we can not and will not help you or any one else to obtain pay TV illegally.
