vu+ control ctr first time user

I have just installed the vu+duo control centre. I entered my ip address , i got a black screen asking me for the root. I have no idea what it is can anyone tell what it is or how to locate it.

personally i would never consider using DCC or Vu-cc as in my opinion there just bloat ware. i would recommend you use a dedicated FTP client.

now as to the default login details ViX dont set password on the images we produce. the login details are as follows.

USER: root
PASSWORD: none set ie left blank.

That said if using putty or DCC / Vu-CC you may need to set a password first before you can use them. you can do this with a telnet session from windows quite easily.
