About flash in general

Hello i wonder something about flash the vu+duo.
if i flash a box with a image and some plugins but then i flash with another image and i perhaps dont like that image and i reflash with the other image and the same plugin but some plugin doesnt work but they didi work before.

how certain is it that image that flashes empty the flash before it flashes.

is there any way to get that inofamtion or command or someting like that.

The very first thing the flashing procedure does, is erasing the flash. You can follow all via a serial log (e.g. Putty via RS232).
