Hi folks

Currently have cross epg set up with open tv on my vu+ duo. Have updated to Vix 3.0 the other day and since then programme summaries for each and every programme on the epg are the same? They all say the following: "a nostalgic look back in time featuring family archive footage. Real housewives of Beverley...a history of Britainhow the celts saved Britain"

It's been like this last fe days since I updated the firmware. Any ideas? Thanks

you might need to re-download the epg for Open TV

To be honest.. I would do a complete flash again.. and set everything up from scratch..

That should cure it..

My recommendation would be to telnet in to your box, and issue the following commands:

init 4
rm -r /media/hdd/crossepg
rm /media/hdd/epg.dat
init 3

This will completely remove all your epg data, and restart back in to e2. you will then have to redownload your epg data, but it shouldnt have any old data in there...

telnet is using some thing like windonws command and than telnet 192.168.1.9 or whatever your box IP is or using a dedicated programme like putty.

Or, you could use putty as stanman says...

Ok so when I telnet into the box it asks for the username. At this point I input root and then it does not ask for a password it just says root@vuduo: ~#

it then says the same prompt no matter what command I input.

Any ideas?

There is no password set. at the root@vuduo: Prompt, type passwd and create one of your own choice
