No particular reason other than there have been extensive changes made to the very core of the image and how it works. meaning that certain plugins no longer work and require their author's to fix so that they will again work with OE-ALLIANCE based images. i'm sure sooner or later the author of the plugin will fix it, until then you should learn how to install plugins manually, a process which takes only a few seconds per plugin.

We don't support TS panel as lot of what it does can be done without it.

As for Plugins generally, given the numbers out there, its down to the plugin author to make it compatiable with the image rather than the other way round.

To do what? If you have a network cable or supported wireless dongle in, it will be networked.

there is also a network wizard on box to help you set it up and if using lan cable you should see flashing at rear.
